Final Artist Statement #1

Through working on my zine I knew what I wanted to do early on. Which is what I like to do in a lot of my work, which is music. I had the idea of making pages of my favorite bands. I wanted to make it collage based but blend the images really well together. I also had the images fad from dark to light or vice versa. In this project I am trying to convey what band I think are the best. Some things that were hard to do was make the images mesh together well and having the colors from all the images look good at the same time. I had fun with this project making pages I thought look really good. Next time I might use the images to communicate more of an idea and have more meaning from the images together.
